Finance Transformation Lead

Role summary

We are looking for a Finance Transformation Lead to join our client, a Canadian home automation company, which specializes in developing innovative smart home products.

This contract role offers the opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing and dynamic organization that has recently been acquired by a large US public company.

The role will focus on financial reporting, full cycle accounting, audit and controls, process and strategy, and systems implementations."

The Opportunity

As a Finance Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for managing the NetSuite integration with various systems, partnering with the business systems team to implement and configure various NetSuite modules, and analyzing and redesigning various processes and controls.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of upcoming projects, including process re-engineering and system integration, and make a significant impact on our client's finance team."

Success Criteria & Deliverables

At 3 Months :

• Successfully project manage NetSuite integration with various systems
• Work collaboratively with business systems team to implement and configure various NetSuite modules
• Analyze and redesign processes and controls to improve efficiency
• Ensure SOX compliance and design internal controls
• Document and test internal controls to ensure accuracy and effectiveness

What We Need From You :

• 10+ years of experience in finance systems, specifically with NetSuite
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting
• Proven experience in full cycle accounting, including new / improved month-end and establishing accounting processes
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and designing internal controls
• Experience in process reengineering and automation
• CPA or CA designation preferred
• Ability to operate in both Canada and the United States
• Experience with Concur, Shopify, and Chargebee
• Strong knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
