Our client, a renowned institution in the education sector located in the West Island of Montreal, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join their team.

We would love to meet you :
- Bilingual to communicate with suppliers outside Quebec
- At least 5 years' experience in maintenance management within property, education, or relevant sectors
- Proficiency in general mechanical building equipment
- Respectful, organized, communicative, and helpful, consistently ready to engage and contribute effectively
Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager :
- Prepare and manage the annual budget for facility maintenance
- Perform daily inspections to identify repair or maintenance needs
- Receive and process service / maintenance requests from employees
- Supervise the daily activities of the maintenance staff
- Manage and oversee subcontractors to ensure high standards
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and renovations
- Manage health and safety inspections, including fire protection and ventilation systems
