Warehouse Worker

Working with an extensive client base, Aerotek is searching for Warehouse Workers for a large company in Edmonton, AB!

Qualifications :

• Warehousing and logistics experience (6 months min)
• Outgoing and go-getter personality
• Forklift Experience is a HUGE asset
• RF Scanner Experience is an asset

Description :

Individuals will be part of the warehouse team that will be responsible for multiple positions within the warehouse. However ideally the 3 candidates will fill a order picking, put away and receiving.

Picking :

Lots of walking in this role as some contractors will be picking orders within eye level while others will use a Crown Reach forklift to pick products.

Mix of forklift on walking to pick orders (could be on the forklift between 30%-50% on average). Will use RF scanners when picking product (system is called TWL Online).

Put-Away : Will be using the Crown Reach more in this role will use the RF system to scan orders, enter in the quantity and scan the location to put away product.

Receiving : Will use pallet jacks and power jacks to receive product from trailers. Will also be expected to use emails to internal and external contacts (around 25-30 emails per day on average).

Will be working with truck drivers so need to use some customer service skills ideally. Will work with receiving branch transfers that will be sent to shipping department.

Shipping : Again mostly using pallet jacks and power jacks. Will also be expected to use emails to internal and external contacts (around 25-30 emails per day on average).

Use a freight management system to enter in product leaving the building to be picked up and generate bills of lading.

Shift : All Shifts Available

Pay Rate : 19.50$ / hr - 21$ / hr
