Our client has been operating for more than 50 years, specializing in sewers and watermains, transportation, dry utilities, shoring, road reconstruction, bridges, concrete forming, marine, environmental remediation and treatment plants / pumping stations.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, a Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, supervision and execution of construction projects.
The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in project administration and field work,munication with clients, consulting engineers and subcontractors.
Other major tasks include, but are not limited to record keeping for construction schedules, as-built drawings, material ordering (purchase orders), documenting contract change orders and required Health and Safety documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Post-Secondary Education / College Diploma (Civil Engineering related preferred)
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe (Bluebeam, Primavera P6 and MS Project considered an asset)
- Valid British Columbia Driver's License
- Proficient in the English language (written and oral) with strong interpersonal andmunication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
