Cyber Security Consultant
PKI Consultant (Remote Canada) : Up to $90 per hour
A leading Cyber Security Service provider is seeking a highly skilled PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Engineer! This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing customer digital security framework, focusing on certificate lifecycle management and leveraging ServiceNow for efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of PKI principles, extensive experience with certificate management, and proficiency in using ServiceNow to streamline and automate processes.

Key Responsibilities :
Certificate Lifecycle Management :
Oversee the full lifecycle of digital certificates, including issuance, renewal, revocation, and replacement.
PKI Infrastructure Management :
- Design, deploy, and maintain PKI systems and infrastructure, including Certificate Authorities (CAs), hardware security modules (HSMs), and associated technologies.
- Perform regular updates and patches to PKI systems to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Develop and manage ServiceNow workflows related to PKI and certificate management, including request handling, approval processes, and notifications.
Security and Compliance :
Ensure that PKI systems comply with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS, as applicable.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.
g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)) are a plus.
- Experience :
- At least 5 years of experience in PKI management and certificate lifecycle operations.
- Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow, including development of workflows, business rules, and integration with other systems.
- Hands-on experience with PKI technologies such as Certificate Authorities, HSMs, and digital certificate standards (e.g., X.509).
