C.T. joined PTSolutions, a division of Berkshire Tool Supply Group (BTSG). PTSolutions is one of the leading suppliers of cutting tools, MRO, and machinery, and is ranked in the Top 50 industrial distributors in the United States.

We're seeking a dynamic, outgoing Sales Representative, located in the BC Interior, to join our team. This role requires a highly motivated individual willing to invest time in growing their customer base in a very lucrative territory.

You will be involved in making direct end-user calls to further promote and develop A.C.T. as the preferred choice for customers.

A.C.T.’s primary target markets are machine shops, fabrication shops and major MRO shops for their shop supplies and tooling.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Making a business plan using A.C.T. Sales Department planning tools, (training provided).
  • Execute the sales plan using A.C.T. go-to-market methods & strategies, (training provided).
  • Initial and ongoing product training.
  • Working with our manufacturer sales reps as part of your go-to market plan.
  • Effectively work with all A.C.T. internal resources to support your go-to-market plan.
  • Service and grow existing accounts and develop new prospect accounts.
  • Sell A.C.T. product lines & achieve established sales and margin objectives.
  • Assure timely completion of all sales administrative tasks as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION

  • Selling is your game sales success drives you.
  • Must carry a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and have a vehicle to travel within their territory.
  • Previous industrial end-user sales success.
  • Machining background and / or a knowledge of abrasives and cutting tools is an asset.
  • Highly organized, motivated person with strong problem-solving skills who despises losing.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with an understanding of business fundamentals.
  • Customer-centric attitude and a desire to grow with & contribute to a customer-focused company.
  • Proficient use of Windows, CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal are required.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

THE MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

2+ years of experience in Sales Knowledge of cutting tools and or direct experience in this industry.
