TANK MECHANIC JOB OPENING!

Calling all Job Seekers in OAKVILLE, ONTARIO! My client is looking for TWO TANK MECHANIC'S to join their team!

Job Title : TANK MECHANIC

Job Duties :

This company focuses on tank sales, leasing, technical assistance, and repairs. Conducts maintenance, inspection, and repair on tanks (ex.

propane tanks you see on trucks on the road) for customers.

DESCRIPTION :

• Troubleshooting and repairing tanks (. propane tanks on trucks)
• Inspections and engine repairs
• Diagnose, repair and modify air, electric, brake and suspension system
• Might include use of a respirator, confined spaces, and overhead welding
• May be welding at heights (working at heights not a must have but an asset)
• Cross-training as a welder to learn other areas of business
• Knowledge of ABS (anti-lock brake system)

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• 1+ years with 310T (Truck / Coach technician) or 310J (Truck Trailer Service Technician) -310J preferred
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems with trailers
• Experience with Hydraulics / Pneumatics (break valves)
• Custom fabrication experience (MIG) (Ability to weld from different angles)

Location : Oakville, Ontario

Shift : Day :

• 1 opening on the day shift - 7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM
• 1 opening on the afternoon shift - 3 : 30PM to 11 : 30PM

Pay :

$39 hourly + $1 premium for afternoon shift
