We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable professional to take on the role of Head of Partnerships. In this capacity, you will forge strong connections with organizations helping the company work with it's local communties and partners.

The perfect candidate for this position will exhibit adept problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a comprehensive grasp of sales principles.

What You'll Do

You will be working closely with the CEO to develop and manage strategic partnerships and alliances for Hertzian in Cornwall and the UK.

Your role involves crafting a partnership strategy, identifying potential partners, negotiating agreements and coordinating cross-functional efforts.

They play a vital role in fostering collaboration with other companies or entities, driving innovation, and contributing to the company's growth and local intiatives, often working to establish mutually beneficial relationships and revenue-generating opportunities.

Objective of the Role :

  • Identifying and evaluating potential partners for collaboration.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with partners.
  • Negotiating and managing partnership agreements.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure effective partnership execution.
  • Problem-solving to address partnership challenges.
  • Identifying revenue-generating opportunities through partnerships.
  • Contributing to innovation and fostering company growth through strategic alliances.
  • Being a point of contact for external partner or community queries

Responsibilities Include :

  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy that specifically targets local vendors and organizations aligned with Hertzian's goals and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with local vendors and organizations that can provide products or services that complement Hertzian's offerings.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with local vendors and partners, working collaboratively to achieve mutual objectives.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of local partnerships, measuring success against predetermined KPIs and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Actively engage with local organizations and communities to build Hertzian's presence and reputation, contributing to its local ecosystem.
  • Address any issues or challenges that may arise during local partnerships, working to find solutions that maintain positive relationships.
  • Identify and recommend new local partnership opportunities that can drive innovation and contribute to Hertzian's growth within the local market.

Skills and Qualifications

  • The ability to develop a clear partnership strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and local market dynamics.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain connections with local vendors, partners, and organizations.
  • Proficiency in negotiation techniques to create mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate partnership proposals, negotiate terms, and collaborate effectively.
  • The capacity to work across different departments within the organization to coordinate efforts and ensure successful partnership execution.
  • A deep understanding of the local market, including its dynamics, trends, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing strategies to promote and optimize partnerships.
  • The ability to identify innovative opportunities for growth and partnerships within the local context.

Nice to have :

  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to partnership agreements and the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Experience working within a SaaS-based company.
