Role Description

The Real Estate Manager manages and oversees the operations and activities related to Kal Tires real property assets. Specific areas of responsibility include real estate procurement real estate and property management leasing and disposition.

Responsibilities

Real Estate Management

• Plans for and implements real estate scenarios such as site relocations acquisitions downsizing or reconfigurations.
• Ensures needs of the business are understood and integrated into solutions; coordinates with other functional areas to ensure complex or multiple plan needs are met.
• Provides real estate subject matter expertise to internal groups (legal accounting FP&A etc.) as well as to external partners and real estate professionals.
• Disposes of surplus property.
• Resolves landlord disputes & other real estate issues pertaining to leased properties.
• Coordinates with Real Estate and Construction project managers to support the ongoing workflow of the Real Estate and Construction department.
• Controls costs and helps monitor general expenditures of the Real Estate and Construction department.
• Participates in the leadership of the Real Estate and Construction department.
