Full job description
The engineer will participate in one or all stages of the project (preliminary, execution, supervision). He / she will work independently or as part of a team.
The engineer must show initiative and versatility. Training and a pleasant working environment in a motivated team will be provided to enable the selected candidate to flourish at work. Main tasks
- Structural design of buildings in wood, concrete, steel and masonry.
- Structural glass design, composite reinforcement, etc.
- Design and lay out buildings
- Prepares sketches for technicians;
- Participates in coordination meetings;
- E ects site surveys.
Skills required
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
- Registered with the OIQ (ing.);
- Proficiency in modeling software (i.e. SAP2000,SAFE), EXCEL and WORD;
- Good knowledge of wood, steel and concrete structural calculations;
- Resourcefulness, autonomy, team spirit and sense of humor;
- Meticulous, conscientious and well-organized;
- Asset : Bilingual
- Asset : Master's degree in applied science, specializing in structure
- Asset : proficiency in MathCAD, Revit and Autocad;
