Role and Responsibilities
Gather and understand requirements from key partners to identify gaps and deliver on objectives.Manage the iteration design process for new and existing products; estimate resource needs and timelines.Develop effective UI and UX; create small iterative improvements to user interactions.Conduct research and requirement gathering meetings; clarify requirements and make necessary changes to meet business needs.Design exercises, wireframes, and interactive prototypes; deliver high‑fidelity concepts.Participate in peer reviews and provide feedback to other designers.Mentor less senior designers and set a high design benchmark.Video editing, animation, and compositing (nice to have).Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of designers and developers to build prototypes and conduct user testing.Education and Experience
Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience.Minimum 7+ years of UI / UX design (or related) experience.Experience in front‑end development and / or close work with front‑end developers is a must.Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping software.Strong design portfolio.Skills
Creative design thinking to build unconventional designs that exceed stakeholder expectations.Proficiency with Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch, and other design tools.Design layout skills—iconography, typography, color, and interaction.Collaboration skills—brainstorm creative concepts using wireframes and sketches.Results‑oriented planner focusing on user needs.Committed to continuous professional development and training.Ability to author HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is valued.Equal Opportunity Employer – Info‑Tech Research Group of companies is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
