Report to the Team Lead, Enterprise Applications.Participate in change, supporting a culture of continual improvement.Contribute to feedback loops within the team, department, and organization to improve efficiency and remove non‑value‑adding tasks.Develop, test, and maintain a variety of automation scripts for large initiatives under senior guidance.Adhere to documentation on application security operating procedures and protocols, considering security at all stages.Participate in evaluation of new products, tools, and technology that could address known and unknown organizational needs.Explore areas appropriate for further study under senior direction.Execute Proof of Concept projects and tasks.Participate in the testing, documentation, and implementation of software releases.Prepare code for peer review according to AMA standards.Set up automated testing, monitoring, and alerting when applicable.Engage in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of AMA’s Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications.Contribute to activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of AMA’s enterprise architecture.Administer, monitor, measure, and improve COTS applications across the organization.Identify problem resolutions to address root causes and minimize repeat incidents.What You Bring To The Table
You have a related post‑secondary education (Information Technology or Computer Science degree is an asset).You’ve got 5+ years’ experience in Application Systems Analysis, Integrations, Implementation, Support, Administration & Development for SaaS and On‑Premise COTS solutions.Experience with SQL, Microsoft Azure, Networking, AWS services, Web development, and desktop computing would be considered an asset.Experience with VM / Hyper‑V server environments in AWS and on‑premise would be considered an asset.Agile (lean, SCRUM, Kanban) certification would be a bonus.You find both comfort and excitement in discovering and understanding the quickly changing technological landscape.Languages and Technical Skills
