Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sonographer on behalf of our expanding diagnostic imaging client located in Calgary Alberta. The clinic takes pride in delivering superior medical imaging services and is recognized as a leader in Musculoskeletal Womens and Obstetrical Imaging Interventional Radiology and Pain Management. Key Responsibilities
Provide professional compassionate care to create an exceptional patient experience
Anticipate patient needs answer questions and maintain a comfortable safe clinical environment
Review examinations for appropriateness and patient eligibility
Obtain patient history and educate patients on upcoming exams
Demonstrate competence in abdominal obstetrical small parts venous carotid Doppler and assist with interventional procedures
Additional competenciesmusculoskeletal arterial Doppler transrectal and neuro sonographyconsidered an asset
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong independent judgment
Apply critical thinking when assessing complex pathologies
Communicate clearly with staff and patients
Contribute to a collaborative team-focused environment within the ultrasound department and across the clinic
Requirements
Diploma or certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Experience in a clinic or hospital setting considered an asset
Registration in good standing with Sonography Canada
Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $43$58/hr commensurate with experience
