Position Overview

LawDepot is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Product Development Manager in Edmonton, Alberta. Working with the UX Optimization team, you will be responsible for leading a group of Product Specialists driving usability and conversion improvements, guiding the team’s growth, and ensuring projects deliver measurable business impact. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week in a hybrid work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Product Specialists working to improve product questionnaires that allow users to customize legal documents without needing a lawyer
• Develop innovative strategies for increasing user engagement, retention, and overall product performance
• Plan, prioritize, and manage quarterly project plans, balancing usability improvements and conversion optimization goals
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to foster a high-performance, growth-oriented culture
• Collaborate with our Legal, Design, Development, Revenue Operations and QA departments to strategize conversion optimization projects for the team
• Ensure that projects move smoothly through all phases of the product development process
• Proactively identify and remove blockers to keep projects on track and teams productive
• Adjust project plans to align with evolving business needs and priorities
• Use data analysis and user insights to identify opportunities for product refinement and improve key performance indicators
• Evaluate the viability of potential projects, services, and features
• Support team growth by preparing hiring requests, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
• Drive team workflow improvements and document best practices
