Yard Hand

Job Description

This role requires some light lifting and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes in a fabrication shop setting.

NOTE : this is NOT a warehouse job.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift : up to 40' lengths of pipe, steel etc.
• Organise and move inventory around the yard : process skids, pressure vessels etc.
• Assist with general shop duties as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
