Credit Analyst

This role is essential for analyzing and evaluating credit applications, monitoring customer accounts, and assisting in managing collections.

About the Opportunity :

  • Evaluate and analyze customer credit applications, determining creditworthiness and risk.
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify potential risks and outstanding receivables.
  • Prepare detailed credit reports for management, including recommendations on credit limits and payment terms.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit risk.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to ensure effective collection of receivables.
  • Assist in developing and improving credit and collections processes.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to resolve credit and payment issues.

About You :

  • Experience : More than 3 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role.
  • Industry Knowledge : Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
  • Technical Skills : Understanding of computerized accounting systems and credit analysis tools.
  • Analytical Skills : High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning to identify underlying principles and facts.
  • Communication : Bilingual with effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.

  • Surveiller les comptes clients pour identifier les risques potentiels et les créances en souffrance.
  • Préparer des rapports de crédit détaillés pour la direction, incluant des recommandations sur les limites de crédit et les conditions de paiement.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies pour atténuer les risques de crédit.
  • Collaborer avec l'équipe de recouvrement pour assurer une collecte efficace des créances.
  • Aider à développer et améliorer les processus de crédit et de recouvrement.
  • Maintenir une communication régulière avec les clients pour résoudre les problèmes de crédit et de paiement.

  • Expérience : Plus de 3 ans d'expérience en analyse de crédit ou dans un rôle similaire.
  • Connaissance de l'industrie : Une expérience dans le secteur de la construction est un atout.
  • Compétences Techniques : Compréhension des systèmes comptables informatisés et des outils d'analyse de crédit.
  • Compétences Analytiques : Haut niveau de pensée critique et logique, d'analyse et de raisonnement pour identifier les principes, les raisons ou les faits sous-jacents.
  • Communication : Bilingue avec des compétences de communication efficaces à tous les niveaux de l'organisation.
