Position : Accounting Technician

Location : Boucherville, remote work 2 days a week once training is completed

Salary : Negotiable, based on experience and education from $55,000 to $65,000 per year (or more!)

Schedule : Full-time, daytime, flexible, 35 hours per week

Accounting Technician wanted for a transportation company in Boucherville! Start a new job quickly within an SME!

We are looking for someone who can handle the complete accounting for the company!

Responsibilities :

• Process driver payroll
• Answer driver questions related to payroll
• Manage expense accounts
• Complete the full cycle of accounts payable : match invoices to work orders, process invoices, issue payments
• Complete the full cycle of accounts receivable : invoice, record deposits, issue statements, follow up with clients
• Reconcile accounts
• Make journal entries
• Produce reports
• Handle bookkeeping, prepare everything for the external accounting office
• Conduct profitability analyses (routes, trucks...)
• Support the President on a daily basis

Requirements :

• Accounting education, ideally a DEC or AEC or DEP
• 3 to 5 years of experience in full accounting, bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Acomba is an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel (intermediate level)
• Functional bilingualism to collaborate with clients or suppliers from outside of Quebec
• Experience in payroll processing is an asset
