In A Nutshell : Under the general supervision of the professional nursing staff, provides personal care to the residents of the Sun Parlor Home including physical, emotional and social care.

Day In The Life : Helps orient new residents to the Home Assisting resident with personal care and activities of daily living Supporting independence of the resident through restorative care practices Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the resident’s care plans Engaging residents in leisure activities Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of residents Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a resident Documenting and recording daily care reports.

Attends meetings and training related to these duties Reports care concerns to the registered staff as needed Administers simple treatments Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the province What We Are Looking For : Minimum Grade 12 Education Personal Support Worker Certificate or actively enrolled in studies as an RN or RPN and completion of one year of full time studies Minimum of 1 Year Related Experience What We Are Offering $25.
