A typical day :
- Review all associated documentation and revise or stage for revision by others as applicable.
- Work constructively with other departments such as Reliability and Engineering Groups for the required technical input and direction.
- Work hand in hand with the I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical) technicians as required tocreate quality procedures for content but also procedure structure and level of detail as far as opportunities for improvement
- Revise, improve and develop new applicable SIF (Safety Instrumented Functions) and MAPD (General Maintenance) procedures that pertain to the Instrumentation and Analyzer maintenance execution.
- Ensure upcoming scheduled SIF and MAPD procedures are revised and available for execution.
Successful candidates will have :
- 5 + years of experience as Instrumentation Technician and / or Instrumentation Maintenance Lead and / or Instrumentation Specialist
- Knowledge of general instrumentation testing and safety instrumented function testing procedures.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, positive attitude with good communication skills. Able to work with limited supervision.
- Experience executing a variety of instrumentation procedures with skill and success.
