This Intern Investment Data Architecture position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience inmetadata management data architecture and investment data operations. The intern will work closely with the senior manager and the team members tohelp build the core metadata capabilities that power the firms Modern Data Platform (Data Hive) and its rapidly expanding AI responsibilities include:

What You WillDo
This Intern Investment Data Architecture position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience inmetadata management data architecture and investment data operations. The intern will work closely with the senior manager and the team members tohelp build the core metadata capabilities that power the firms Modern Data Platform (Data Hive) and its rapidly expanding AI responsibilities include:
- Data Lineage Development:Update andmaintainthe enterprise Data Lineage frameworkinSolidatusto ensure complete traceability from source systems through analytical and reporting layers.
- DataCatalog Enhancement:Enhance and curate the enterprise Data Catalogin MicrosoftPurviewbydocumenting data assets data products andimproving metadata completeness accuracy consistency and governance.
- Data Dictionary Management:Develop refine and update Data Dictionaries for both existing and new data products across the Modern Data Platform (Data Hive).
- Metadata Collection & Documentation:Collaborate with data stewards system owners and business analysts to collect metadata inputs capture business definitions and document changes across data domains.
- Strategic Metadata & Framework Development:Support strategic initiatives that depend onhigh qualitymetadatasuch as AI model development data discovery integration workflows and governancewhile contributing to the development and ongoing maintenance of metadata management frameworks.
What You Bring
TheIntern Investment Data Architectureposition is geared towards students either inthird/fourthyear of an undergraduate degree ormastersdegreewith a focus onFinance or Data are seeking ambitious students with a strong academictrack record who are interested in enhancing data management capabilities across CC&L.
In addition to the above the successful candidate will have:
- Apassionfordataand metadatamanagementordata governance.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Curiosity initiative and a willingness to dive into complex data environments.
- Familiarity with data modelingdata lineagetools anddata catalog tools (an asset notrequired).
- Experience withusertrainingfor newenterpriseapplications(an asset notrequired).
- Preference given to students completing their thirdor finalyear of an undergraduateormastersdegree with a strong academictrack record.
The salaryrange for this positionis $50000- $60000 salary rangeprovidedreflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
