SALARY
$ - $ per hour as per pay grade 10 of our YR-1 pay schedule.

ABOUT THE ROLES
Court Administration Clerk
This position is responsible for providing court administration support for the progress of matters filed with the Ontario Court of Justice.
The incumbent will be responsible for handling a range of tasks, including preparing correspondence and receiving court documents for the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and Ontario Court of Appeal.
Additionally, the position entails the preparation of reports, meticulous record-keeping, and timely responses to inquiries from various stakeholders.
The duties also encompass efficiently addressing tracking requests, inquiries, motions, impersonations, appeals, and accepting fine payments over the phone, through mail, or in-person.
Courtroom Clerk Reporter
This role entails delivering comprehensive court administration support services during Provincial Offence court sessions.
Responsibilities include operating both verbatim analog and digital recording equipment, preparing and certifying transcripts, generating statistical reports, managing court records, and addressing inquiries from various stakeholders.
The position also involves undertaking assigned special projects, providing overall assistance to the judiciary, and ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of courtroom order.
Trial Coordinator Clerk
In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling a variety of court cases before officials and administering court lists in accordance with regional judicial policies and directives.
Additionally, you will handle the distribution of trial notices, coordinate enforcement calendars, and undertake special projects as assigned.
Prosecution Clerk
This position plays a crucial role in delivering administrative and legal support to the Prosecution Office. Responsibilities include the preparation of various documents, such as correspondence, reports, and court documents, spanning the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and Ontario Court of Appeal.
The role extends to virtual docket preparation, as well as the acquisition, review, processing, and providing of disclosure, along with meticulous electronic file maintenance.
Additionally, the incumbent will contribute to assigned projects, serving as a liaison with diverse stakeholders and the public for prosecution-related requests, Charter Applications, Prosecution motions, and appeals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Satisfactory Police Criminal Background Check and annual Police Security Clearance*.
- Court Administration Clerk and Trial Coordinator Clerk : Minimum three (3) years experience in an office environment, including demonstrated legal or court experience using the Integrated Court Offences Network (ICON) database to retrieve and access data.
- Courtroom Clerk Reporter : Minimum of three (3) years experience in a court environment or related court experience.
- Prosecution Clerk : Minimum three (3) years experience in a legal, court or related office environment and knowledge of and ability to use the Integrated Court Offences Network ICON database, CAMS (Case Management System), DEMS (Digital Evidence Management System), and Adobe Pro.
