We’re scaling our Product & Engineering organisation and expanding our Sydney hub, and we’re looking for our next Senior DevOps Engineer who wants to shape the reliability, scalability, and security of a platform used by leading law firms around the world.
If you’re someone who thrives in cloud infrastructure, automation, and systems thinking, this role will give you huge scope. You’ll work across AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI / CD, and observability tooling partnering closely with backend, full-stack, and AI teams to ensure Nexl is fast, resilient, and effortless to ship to.
We’re looking for someone with strong technical depth, a high sense of ownership, and a bias for simplicity — someone who raises the bar, proactively improves systems, and uses AI to accelerate diagnostics, automation, and operational workflows.
Job requirements
Must haves :
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC
- Experience building or improving CI / CD pipelines
- Strong observability and operational awareness
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Familiarity with Ruby / Python-based environments
- Security-aware mindset
- Growth mindset and a desire to continually raise the bar
- Fluency using AI tools as part of day-to-day engineering workflows
