Compensation : $170-200K CAD base salary (negotiable based on experience) plus 20% bonus.

Location : Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This role will include a combination of home and office work, as well as occasional international travel.

The hired employee must be a Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident. Relocation assistance to British Columbia from within Canada is available.

Key Responsibilities :

149; Produce company’s financial statements

149; Supervises auxiliary accounting entries : Customers, suppliers, cash-flow, fixed assets etc

149; Produce financial monthly closing (provisions, inventories, company tax) in accordance with group accounting standards

149; Produces the financial statements and tax declarations in accordance with local tax law and local accounting rules.

149; Main contact of the statutory auditors and the tax authorities

149; Manages relationship with local lending institutions (eg RBC US$ 25 million ABL facility), in close coordination with Group Treasury Director

149; Implements group internal audit procedures

149; Leads annual budget and the medium-term business planning exercises for Americas businesses.

149; Calculates Cash-Flow reports, budgets and variances analysis

149; Evaluates Financial KPIs per profit center and cost center (Revenue, Gross Margin, WIP, EBITDA…)

149; Presents with clarity and impact the reporting to Canadian, Brazil and Mexican team

149; Ensures compliance with the Group management control procedures and is part of a continuous improvement process to ensure financial reporting is representative of the company's value creation

The candidate will have demonstrated in previous experiences the following competencies :

149; Strong financial knowledge, including (non-exhaustive list) : Forecasting and financial reports, good tax / customs knowledge in order to minimize the risks of the Group in this area, Up-to date knowledge of accounting regulations.

149; Strong Excel, SAP and other accountancy / consolidation platforms / ERP systems

149; Understanding of US ITAR compliance from a regulatory / reporting perspective within Aerospace applications

149; Ability to interpret economics conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization

149; Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method, with strong attention to detail

149; Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

149; Ability to work with all levels of management, challenge the status quo and drive through changes

149; Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

149; Ability to supervise and motivate subordinates

149; Ability to evolve within an international network & to manage cultural differences

149; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English (French basis would be a

plus)

Qualifications and Experience :

Strong academics :

  • o CPA / CMA certification
  • o Master Degree in Accounting / Finance (not a must)

149; Minimum of 10 years of experience working in accounting and financial reporting with audit background

149; Strong accounting knowledge, especially for cost accounting and IFRS

149; Experience working at some point within auditing function of a PWC / Deloitte / KPMG / EY /

GT / BDO, or equivalent

149;Canadian national or permanent resident / Vancouver based

149;English primary language with French language capability (not a must)

149;Experience within the industry, technical credibility (e.g. IFRS, FX), ERP knowledge

149;Multi-cultural mindset is a plus
