Jack & Slide Rigger

NCSG Hauling & Rigging have a great opportunity for a entry level individual looking for experience in Jack and Slide to support our Calgary office.

The Jack and Slide Rigger is an integral member of the team responsible for assisting the loading, offloading and setting of various over dimensional loads including modules and transformers.

Your success will be defined by your ability to :

• Complete pre job system evaluations and FLRA’s daily to ensure all hazards are identified and mitigated.
• Assumes responsibility for loading, offloading, setting / centering load and block placing to ensure safe and accurate placement.
• Light troubleshooting when required.
• Ensures work activities are performed in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
• Ensures all required paperwork including but not limited to; time sheets including job numbers, FLRA’s, maintenance requests are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Other duties assigned as required.

Qualifications :

• 1 year of experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas field.
• Previous Jack & Slide experience an asset.
• Class 1 Drivers License an asset. Must have Class 5 and own transportation.
• Safety Certifications including CSTS 2020, H2S, and First Aid
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment to make decisions based on information.
• Results orientated and achievement motivated.
• Operates with high integrity; builds trust, quickly wins and sustains credibility in relationships with others.
• Successful passing of Pre-employment A&D test is required.
• Safety oriented.
