Bettingjobs is currently working with a leading sports betting modelling business looking to hire a remote in Canada based Trading Operations Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Alongside the Head of Trading and Sports, monitor and manage non pricing related trading risks, ensuring the company's financial health while minimising potential losses.
- Focus on operational trading matters such as trader performance, trading rota(s), market rules, regulatory / compliance matters and settlement queries.
- Lead and communicate on all technical related queries impacting trading.
- Remove operational friction for the frontline traders to focus on pricing, including incident escalation and resolution, process improvement, and documentation of policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, to ensure ongoing optimisation of trader tooling and support.
- Provide daily handover report to Head of Trading Operations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve trading operations and enhance processes.
- Stay current with industry trends, trading practices, and gaming developments, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Lead on all in-play testing for new product and releases, providing reports to Head of Trading Operations and Lead Product Analyst.
- Be the subject matter expert for incident management and trader communications for any PROD P1 issues, feeding into root-cause analysis and post-mortem documentation for the UK product teams.
- Lead as a key pillar for ideas, testing and implementation of new Trader SOS and Trader Platform tools.
