Location : 90% remote 10% travel to Vancouver, BC, Canada

Not strict travel; based on need basis only) expenses would be paid.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP AMS Lead / SAP Support Lead to oversee our SAP support operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP modules, including SD, FI, LE, MM / IM, CAR, EWM, Basis, Security, and ABAP.

This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a team of support professionals, and the expertise to ensure optimal performance and functionality of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of SAP support analysts, ensuring high-quality support and continuous development.
  • Incident Management : Oversee the resolution of incidents and service requests related to SAP modules, ensuring timely responses and effective solutions.
  • System Monitoring : Monitor SAP systems for performance and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Module Expertise : Provide expert guidance in SAP SD, FI, LE, MM / IM, CAR, EWM, Basis, Security, and ABAP, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Change Management : Coordinate and manage change requests, ensuring proper testing and documentation.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements within the SAP environment.
  • Training : Provide training and support to end-users, enhancing their understanding of SAP functionalities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP support and maintenance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules : SD, FI, LE, MM / IM, CAR, EWM, Basis, Security, and ABAP.
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • SAP certifications in relevant modules are a plus.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with SAP HANA and S / 4HANA.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of integration with non-SAP systems.
