Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
ABOUT THE POSITION
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
- Handling sales and purchase transactions
- Handling refinancing transactions
- Keeping track of important transaction dates and ensuring deadlines are met
- Performing title searches
- Drafting agreements
- Gathering documents for trust transactions
- Preparing various reports
- Liaising with 3rd parties (including brokers, financial institutions, vendors, and purchases)
- Drafting client correspondence
- Attending client intake meetings
THE REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
- A Paralegal Certificate / Diploma is an asset
- Proficiency with BC Online and LTSA
- Proficiency in E-Conveyance software is an asset
COMPENSATION
- $80,000 $95,000 (depending on experience)
