Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Project Manager
This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.

Data Quality Program Governance Support Role
This role is for a hands-on professional who supports Program leads working with multiple teams through other managers and departments to govern and oversee set objectives / projects for the Data Engineering Finance Data Quality program.
Experienced in supporting governance of complex technology and data initiatives, liaising between strategy, technology, business, and data teams to drive successful program outcomes (including but not limited to processes, communication and training).
Supports Program lead with quality and timely delivery of end results of an area. May also be expected to support Program lead on delivering diverse (cross-discipline) activities.
Key Activities include :
Managing the Data Engineering book of work, including working with various finance and technology teams to identify and prioritize investments, and providing ongoing visibility into project statuses and accomplishments.
Support the development of analyses, compelling presentations and meeting materials that will move stakeholders to action.
Stakeholders can include regulators and senior internal clients
Support Program lead by working with SMEs to develop guidance and approach for the execution team
Work with various technology teams and regulatory remediation program groups to support executive reporting and oversight in various BAU and regulatory forums
Support in governance and overseeing technology related issue remediation teams
Provide support in preparing materials and drive any necessary forums representing the interests of the Finance DQ Program and document clear takeaways or actions
Participate in regular partner governance meetings to support successful execution
Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior management
Support departmental activities and administrative matters with cross-functional partners with respect to routine and ad hoc initiatives and requests.
Support the development of strong partnerships, high quality deliverables, and seamless engagement, co-ordination, and communication on behalf of Data Engineering
Collaborate with other areas within Client, as necessary, to come up with the best solutions / decisions
Support Program lead to appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banking, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Additional duties as assigned, such as provide support in :
Program related communication and analytics activities
Developing process documentation, guidance and organize additional training as required
Writing guidance documents and develop proposals, obtain stakeholder buy-in to move towards execution
Preparing stakeholder updates and reporting
Knowledge and Skills :
Excellent writing and analytical skills, has developed analysis and presentations that have been presented to management with minimal edits required
US Financial Regulatory reporting process understanding
Basic understanding of data governance principles, data quality requirements and controls
Highly motivated with a strong attention and willingness to get into detail
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Process mapping, consulting, excel / SQL, audit skills are desirable
Ability to support assessment and management of competing priorities to deliver high quality and timely work
Comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibility
Team oriented and organized
Experience with working on projects with stakeholders from different parts of the enterprise is desirable
Qualifications :
2-5 years experience in financial services, consulting, or technology specially in business process management or data management
Strong plus if one has experience with regulatory or consent order type of projects, or audit, not a must
Education :
Bachelor s / University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
