JYSK is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Human Resources Team, based in our beautiful home office in Coquitlam, BC.

As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for effectively and accurately processing semi-monthly payroll in a high-volume payroll department.

You will report and take direction from the Payroll and Benefits Manager and ensure a timely and accurate delivery of payroll and all other related services.

This temporary role is for a 2-year contract.Key ResponsibilitiesEnter new hire information into ADP WorkforceNow.Process transfers, promotions, leaves, and terminations in ADP WorkforceNow.

Process semi-monthly payroll for both hourly and salaried colleagues.Process terminations and ROE’s.Ensure accurate and timely processing of all payroll-related transactions.

Develop and update complex reports.Maintain the accuracy of the payroll data on the HRIS.Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations online.

What do you bring to the role?Knowledge of Canadian (Federal and Provincial) payroll legislation.Advanced hands-on experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.

Ability to meet multiple demands in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee information.

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining a can do attitude.Excellent customer service, attention to detail and organizational skills including effective prioritization and follow-up skills.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task.Minimum 2 years experience with Canadian payroll for 200+ colleagues is required.Working experience with ADP WorkforceNow is preferred.

PCP certified or enrolled in the National Payroll Institute (NPI) certification program.Post-secondary education in Business or Accounting is preferred.

Compensation : Generally, the hiring range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
