I am looking for an accounts payable clerk for my client, a large packaging SME. This is a permanent face-to-face position.
Working conditions
- Hourly salary between $23.00 and $27.00 depending on your experience;
- Permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, face-to-face with flexible schedule between 7 a.m. and
- 6 p.m.;
- 2 weeks of annual vacation, 5 days of paid personal leave and 4 days of additional paid leave between
- Christmas and New Year's Day;
- Group insurance program paid at 59% by the employer, including Employee Assistance Program and Service
- 24 / 7 telemedicine;

Role and responsibilities
Stationed at the Candiac head office, and under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the incumbent sees to the processing and monitoring
accounts payable for all of our divisions. He is notably responsible for :
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and verify approval and coding;
- Ensure the accuracy of invoices and account statements;
- Enter invoices into the accounting system;
- Prepare payments and bank transfers;
- Classify invoices and payments.
Knowledge and experience required
- DEP in accounting;
- 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Good knowledge of Excel and the Office suite.
Required skills and abilities
- The ability to work in a team;
- Enjoy clerical work and data entry;
- Be autonomous, meticulous and have a good sense of organization;
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
