Lead Electrical Engineer

Linxus Group is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our clients team in Victoria BC. If you're a senior electrical engineer with a proven track record of leading a strong team, we want to hear from you!

Position Title : Lead Electrical Engineer

Direct Reports : 2-5

Compensation : up to $175k, salary will depend on experience & education

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team (2-5 direct reports).
• Stay current with electrical engineering practices and trends.
• Foster team growth and make personnel decisions with the Director.
• Ensure effective project delivery and coordinate team activities.
• Resolve technical issues and collaborate with pre-construction and construction teams.
• Develop and maintain standardized electrical specifications and documents.
• Provide peer review, mentorship, and serve as the electrical Engineer of Record (EOR) for multifamily developments.
• Analyze and design electrical systems, oversee drawings, and attend project meetings.
• Support construction by answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and issuing necessary documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and participate in constructability reviews.
• Coordinate drawings between disciplines and perform other duties as assigned.
