Hello!I am looking for a punctual and reliable caregiver to provide live in or live out care for my 15-month old daughter.
The ideal candidate is a professional nanny wanting additional hours or a graduate student wanting a flexible schedule to accommodate their studies.
The responsibilities include picking up my daughter from daycare, organizing and executing fun educational activities independently, ensuring child's safety and well-being, and assisting with light household duties.
I value a warm and friendly personality with ability to maintain a clean and organized environment. I am are offering a competitive hourly rate of $17.
2-25 / hr. The hourly rate is based on living arrangements, qualifications, experience, and references. Schedule Monday-Friday 7-9 am (optional)Monday-Friday 3-7 pm or bedtime (mandatory)Saturday 9-5 : 30 pm (optional)Feb 14 - March 2 (Optional travel to Caribbean)April 16 - May 3 (Optional travel to Caribbean)- You may stay in our nanny suite between shift hours to avoid commuting but this time is uncompensated as you will note be working.
Requirements : - First Aid CPR- Background check- Canadian passport or ability to travel internationally- Up-to-date immunizations- Flu and Covid vaccine (getting new boosters this fall)- Covid and Flu booster annually- Able to use a stroller, carseat, and change table safely - Must be comfortable using public transportation or a vehicle with toddler / stroller- Accessible by mobile while in home or out with child- Experience caring for a toddler independently without parents being homeDuties : - drop off (optional) and pickup toddler from daycare- feed, dress, bathe toddler independently - assume household and childcare responsibility when parent is away- maintain safety rules and guidelines outlined by parent including screen time - Follow and update daily schedule based on age and development- Plan and execute age appropriate fun activities - Able to swim and participate swimming lessons- Potty train, organize clothing, plan and execute playdates- Safely prep and feed solids with a knowledge of choking hazards- Take to daily activities and medical appointments using public transportation or car - Light house keeping duties laundry, tidying up, organizing, using dishwasher, meal prep- pack toddler's school bag and travel suitcase as needed- Care for small dog as needed - Use childcare apps, keep daily journal, and provide parent with photo and text updates- Respect rules regarding the use of mobile phone during work hoursIf you are passionate about providing exceptional care and have a flexible schedule please send me your childcare experience and two references from local families and we can take it from there.
