Position : Land Administrator
Reports to : Director, Land & Community Relations
This role is responsible for administrating all Surface & Mineral Land related activities. This is a temporary position based at the Greenfire Calgary Head Office.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Coordinate the acquisition and ongoing administration of Crown surface rights and land access agreements.
- Manage the input of all land and mineral record information into the designated land system and maintenance of all surface leases.
- Monitor surface and mineral obligations and expiries.
- Manage all mineral lease rentals, escalating rentals and surface lease rentals.
- Surface Lease acquisition and management, including annual reporting.
- Use systems and processes to track the status of acquisitions and update project teams and management.
- Keep apprised of upcoming surface rights issues, risks, and opportunities within the area of operations.
- Ensure rental payments are up to date.
- Provide general administrative support to the Director, Land & Community Relations.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Surface Land Administration is required.Possess a relevant degree, diploma, or certificate from a recognized Land program.Experience establishing and maintaining accurate records.Familiarity with online title systems.Proficient with software such as MS Office Suite and CGI Landman.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work with people of diverse disciplines, backgrounds, and cultures.Ability to manage a flexible and evolving set of work priorities.Demonstrates initiative in identifying and taking on projects and duties.Knowledge of Oilsands Regulations, AER Directives and other applicable legislation and regulations.CAPLA membership, considered an asset.Why Greenfire?
