Job description :
Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Representative for its Industrial Chemicals division in the province of Quebec.
Our client represents the world's leading value-added suppliers. Quebec is a strategic and fast-growing region for our customer, and plays a key role in its continued growth.
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure regular contact with corporate customers / prospects in the manufacturing sector, and to build relationships with R&D departments, purchasing departments and key decision-makers.
You will maintain relationships with suppliers and also target new suppliers likely to use specialty products like theirs.
Collaborating with customers, suppliers and the team, you will be responsible for growing, leading and implementing solutions.
Skills and qualifications :
The successful candidate must be fluent in both French and English. The Technical Representative must be mobile to travel throughout the province as well as Ontario to participate in training and trade shows.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a drive for successful product and customer growth. Ideally, he or she will have technical experience in R&D or relevant industry experience.
- Key requirements include a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in technical sales, a degree in chemistry (Atout) or science, and a strong motivation to further develop your knowledge and skills in this business area.
