One of our favourite SE Calgary clients, specializing in the technology and finance industry, is seeking a Technical Support / Onboarding Specialist (overnight shift) to join their growing and ever-evolving team.

This hire will be an integral part of the Customer Service (CSR) / Onboarding team, working overnights in a vital escalation position.

This is an independent role that requires a self-sufficient, self-motivated, and resourceful key player who can think outside the box.

This role works with clients / vendors and is responsible for onboarding, working with the development team to support integrations, and any troubleshooting required along the way.

The ideal hire will have good knowledge in technical support and customer service, and will be able to thrive autonomously.

Someone who is confident, analytical, and resourceful in nature will be perfect for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities :

The key job functions are :

  • Onboard new clients / vendors, set up clients with their systems
  • Act as a key escalation contact for client / customer communications via phone and email correspondence
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve users’ problems by carrying out manual A-Z troubleshooting
  • Guide users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, including the use of diagnostic tools and following verbal instructions

Education :

  • High school diploma / equivalent
  • Post secondary in related field (asset)

Qualifications :

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • A satisfactory criminal record check is required
  • A satisfactory credit check is required
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Ability to work overnight hours

Experience :

years’ experience in Customer Service / Tech Support is required

  • Strong analytical nature
  • Ability to thrive autonomously
  • Loyal, eager, and willing to learn and grow within the role
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong task accuracy and ability to troubleshoot effectively
  • Ability to communicate processes with clients / customers

Base Salary : $ per hour
