Overview
Ice River Sustainable Solutions is seeking ten (10) Process Control & Machine Operator(s), Beverage Processing (NOC 94140) to join our team at the Grafton facility, located at 308 Academy Hill Road, Grafton, ON, K0K 2G0. These are full-time positions based on 88 hours per 2-week cycle, with occasional overtime. The role requires working a 12-hour rotating continental shift, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain bottling processing equipment via digital control panels, configure settings, monitor production processes, log data, troubleshoot, and implement system updates for optimal performance. Some manual operation is required.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for quality control and production tracking; conduct regular inspections, adjust as needed, and ensure quality standards are met; promptly report deficiencies.
- Analyze production line performance by monitoring KPIs (cycle times, bottlenecks, material flow) and utilize data analytics tools to optimize equipment synchronization, reduce downtime, and maximize throughput.
- Identify safety hazards, perform real-time risk analyses with sensor data and machine feedback, ensure compliance with safety protocols (LOTO, emergency stops, machine guarding), and adhere to OSHA and site requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and address challenges.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation following industry standards, using approved chemicals; follow schedules to prevent cross-contamination and document activities for traceability and audits.
- Handle materials safely with equipment such as forklifts, conduct risk assessments, use protective gear, and inspect handling equipment for safety and maintenance.
- Provide flexible support on the production line, assisting with equipment setup, monitoring output, troubleshooting minor issues, and loading / unloading materials; adapt to roles like packaging, quality inspection, or machine operation as needed.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical guidelines for production processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Completion of high school required; some post-secondary education preferred due to reading and understanding technical instructions and equipment manuals.Two years of plastics injection or bottling line experience required; previous heavy equipment experience preferred.Able to work independently and in a small team in a fast-paced environment; maintain high attendance; show a positive, upbeat attitude; strong attention to detail.Compensation
Starting wage of $22.53 – $23.38 per hour, with a $0.25 raise after 3 months probation.Eligible for a Line Efficiency (LEF) Bonus upon meeting criteria; details may change.Overtime paid at 1.5x after 88 hours in a 2-week cycle.Benefits include 10 days of paid vacation per year, extended medical, dental, and long-term disability insurance, retirement savings plan, and inbound transportation costs for out-of-province applicants. Health coverage for out-of-province applicants comparable to Ontario plan until eligible for OHIP.Eligible for incremental raises per company policy.Working Environment and Physical Demands
Shift-work requiring nights and weekends.Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds or more; standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching; use of PPE; operating forklifts and machinery requires coordination and safety adherence.The work environment and physical demands described are representative of the essential functions.
