Job Description
We’re looking for a talented teammate
As a Building Science Analyst Co-op, you are to determine and communicate customer eligibility for energy conservation measures provided under the IESO’s Energy Affordability Program and Enbridge’s Home Winterproofing Program.
Responsibilities include; audit submission review, applicant eligibility determination, customer-facing communication, data management, metrics and reporting, team facilitation and coordination, and process definition and improvement.
You are also to ensure smooth delivery of projects and programs, both internally and externally; while adhering to program, practice and operations guidelines.
This Co-Op role will run from January 2025 to April 2025.
Must be in Ontario to be considered. This is a hybrid role, occasional in-person office attendance (approx. two days per month) is optional.
What we need help with
Conducting technical and QA reviews on audit reports and documents to identify energy saving opportunities (appliances, insulations, heat pumps).
Supporting on application administration, including but not limited to : intakes, transfers, cancellations, and assignment processes.
Prepare information requests for customers / assessors to address submission deficiencies.
Maintain customer satisfaction and develop customer relationships including undertaking business development activities.
Analyzing program metrics related to application administration, i.e. volume of projects, associated energy savings, trends, etc.
Identifying process optimization and improvements.
Supporting and creating presentation decks.
Prepare and maintain a variety of reports to manage and monitor project activity.
Exciting candidates have
Active enrollment in post-secondary education in Environment, Business or Engineering.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience in an engineering services company is an asset.
Proficiency with MS Office (emphasis on Excel).
Experience with Power Query and PBI is an asset.
Ability to work well with all levels of management, colleagues and external contacts.
