Description de posteApply your expertise in leading and supporting studies, preliminary design, detailed design, and services during construction for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, calculations, specifications, process narrative, drawings, permit / approvals applications, and operations manuals, including application of seal, for the process mechanical discipline for : Water and wastewater treatment plants including intakes and outfalls Water pumping stations, sewage pumping stations, reservoirs, elevated tanks, CSO tanks Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver top-notch project designs. Take charge of contract administration and provide operator training to ensure seamless operations. Conduct site inspections and write detailed technical reports as needed. Contribute to business development and help prepare winning proposals. Contribute to risk analysis, quality assurance, and management strategies to safeguard project success. Be ready to take on new challenges and grow within the role as other duties arise. You hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from a recognized university. You’re a licensed Professional Engineer ( in Ontario, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience designing water and wastewater systems. You’ve got a strong background in hydraulic calculations, including hydraulic profiles, pumping applications, and chemical feed systems. You understand control and automation systems for water and wastewater processes. You’re a have project management experience with a track record of managing budgets, schedules, and project scopes effectively. You’re comfortable managing procurement processes and administering contracts with ease. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Project . You excel at building relationships and thrive in collaborative, team-oriented environments. You’re an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and can simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
