IntermediateSenior Structural Engineer - Water - Hybrid

Our growing Infrastructure team in Ontario is looking for an Intermediate / Senior Structural Engineer to join our Ottawa office. You will work on water and wastewater infrastructure projects the original sustainable projects.

Our projects include everything water and wastewater related water storage pumping facilities treatment facilities equipment storage buildings administration and laboratory buildings too. We are part of a larger team that provides full multidiscipline support for each project.

You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours working from home and in our Ottawa office.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete structural design and prepare drawings and specifications
• Determine construction costs and quantities and carry out studies and technical reports
• Conduct field work including investigations / inspections for the design retrofit remediation and construction of structures
• Monitor engineering fees and budgets
• Liaise with clients and contractors
• Review progress and compliance of construction work in accordance with tender documents
