Mission statement

Your mission is to ensure safe efficient operations while achieving production goals maintaining quality standards and driving continuous improvement. Youll work closely with shift supervisors and the maintenance team to optimize resources enhance productivity and foster a strong safety culture.

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager
  • No Direct Reports
  • Salaried Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Health & Safety :

    • Enforce adherence to all health safety and environmental policies.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and uphold housekeeping standards.
  • Operations Management :

    • Oversee daily operations of Line and Pipe Production departments to meet production KPIs.

  • Collaborate with planning to create efficient production schedules.
  • Drive Operational Excellence initiatives and manage process improvement projects.
  • Team Leadership :

    • Coach develop and train employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Effectively communicate expectations and management decisions.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and provide updates on progress and plans.
  • Collaboration :

    • Partner with the maintenance team to ensure smooth operations.

  • Support crossdepartmental initiatives to achieve company goals.

    • What You Bring

  • 35 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production management.
  • A degree in Business Management Operations Management Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Experience working with a unionized workforce.
  • Strong communication teambuilding and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive mindset selfmotivation and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
