Description de posteDevelop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities. Identify, evaluate, and build strong partnerships with suppliers that ensure optimal cost, quality, capacity, and alignment with company goals. Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, including pricing, rebates, long-term contracts, and tooling costs, incorporating input from relevant internal teams. Collaborate with suppliers to explore new technologies and implement projects that reduce cost and increase product quality. Conduct market analysis and testing to uncover cost-saving opportunities. Strengthen and manage strategic supplier relationships, addressing any business challenges that arise. Lead change of supply sources, ensuring seamless transitions by coordinating with all stakeholders and maintaining a clear project plan. Lead the onboarding of new suppliers, including evaluation, certification, training, and setting expectations. Ensure accurate pricing and sourcing data in ERP System, strategically assign new parts, and proactively address potential future price discrepancies. Lead regular reviews with suppliers to assess performance and continuous improvement, engaging other departments as needed. Conduct risk assessments of suppliers to support NFI's supplier risk management initiatives. Ensure compliance with all supplier-related regulatory requirements, including domestic content rules, disadvantaged business goals, trade agreements, and environmental, social, and governance standards. A university degree in a related field is preferred. Completion of the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation or other procurement-related education is also preferred. Relevant experience will be considered. A minimum of 5 years of senior procurement experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and build strong relationships. Experience in project management and / or change management. Experience using an ERP system, experience with Oracle considered an asset. Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear and engaging presentations. Advanced business analysis and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to lead and collaborate effectively across various functions. Strong business and financial acumen. A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
