Our client is a well established M&E Consultancy who also Design and Build throughout Canada, they are currently looking for a technically astute Electrical Estimator / designer.

Our client was founded over years ago, providing mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and communications design on a fascinating variety of commercial and institutional buildings, new and renovated. With their main office located in uptown Toronto and has associated and established offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, London, Ottawa and Winnipeg.

The Toronto office is currently seeking an Engineer / Designer specializing in Electrical Systems,  complimented with the ability to product drawings on Revit / CAD / MEP.

The Designer will work with the Project Manager and independently depending on project scope. Candidates will be team players who are highly motivated with good communication skills. The candidate would work under the direct supervision of a Principal or Project Manager.

Engineer / Designer Qualifications : Candidate(s) must :

• Possess or more years of experience in the field of electrical building services
• A with equivalent experience and abilities will be considered
• Demonstrate a strong desire for advancement and professional development
• Demonstrate the ability to work in complex environment often driven by project deadlines
• Be college graduates of an electrical building services program
• Have AutoCAD training from a recognized College and have exposure to electrical layouts and systems. Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP is preferred
• Be familiar with systems such as fire alarm, communication and other specialized electrical systems
• The amount of experience would adjust the level of responsibility of the successful candidate’s position
