We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist for Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta. A successful candidate is required to work as per the company values : Safety, Caring, Integrity, Excellence, Team spirit and Financial responsibility. The position reports to the HR Manager, and works closely with General Manager.

Job responsibilities :
- Managing day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties.
- Maintaining employee records physically and electronically.
- Maintaining HR records by recording new hires, terminations, changes in job classifications, tracking leave of absence, etc.
- One stop shop for answering all employee-related queries about HR policies and, programs.
- Onboarding new hires, delivering Orientation presentation.
- Supporting management in the audits and annual performance reviews.
- Coordinating health and safety needs. Develop and facilitate monthly meetings and training as required by legislation.
- Organizing and coordinating staff accommodation (arrivals and departures).
- Assisting accounting with payroll process and procedures (seasonal during winter months).
- Assisting with the recruitment, selection and hiring process.
- Assist in conducting Work Place Investigations.
- Assist in Terminations, Evictions (Staff Accommodation) and Progressive Disciplinary discussions.
- Fulfilling the full-cycle recruitment process efficiently and effectively.
- Ensuring WCB claims are filed and return to work efforts are maximized.
