Position description

The Department of Politics & International Relations at Mount Allison University invites applications for a full-time nine-month sessional position. The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence on August 1, 2025, subject to budgetary approval. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Political Science with research and teaching expertise in the subfield of Canadian Politics. Candidates should have an active research agenda and a commitment to high quality undergraduate teaching.

The successful candidate will teach the equivalent of five 3-credit courses :

Fall Term :

• POLS 3101 – Political Leadership in Canada
• POLS 41xx – Special Topics

Winter Term :
