Compensation : $85000.00 to $95000.00 yearly
Robert Half is currently working with a client looking to fill a Payroll Manager position. This Payroll Manager will be responsible for preparing reports and updating policies, and will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the payroll department. If you are a dynamic Payroll Manager with excellent communication, proven leadership, and are deadline driven, this may be the role for you. If you are looking to take your next step from Senior Administrator or Payroll Lead, this may also be the role for you!
Your responsibilities
- Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
- Help create systems that process payroll account transactions, like salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments
- Supervise and coach 2 payroll coordinators
- Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
- Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams
- Create reports and ensure accuracy of records
