Position DescriptionThe S2S Network is prayerfully searching for an individual or couple to join New Horizons International Church (Winnipeg) as a Resident Pastor to plant a new multi-ethnic congregation in Winnipeg. Resident Pastors join the S2S Network for 2 years of church multiplication training and coaching with the goal to plant a new congregation. Resident Pastors already possess some Christian ministry training, and have been involved in Christian ministry work. You possess a call to church multiplication. You are excited to participate in our study program, engage in ongoing leadership development, and growth in spiritual formation. Upon the successful completion of our program, you will pioneer a new congregation in close partnership with New Horizons International Church ( This is a co-vocational opportunity. Sea-to-Sky will provide financial support to the Resident Pastor for their housing costs during the two year program. We will also invest significantly into your training, coaching and leadership development. Resident Pastors will obtain part time employment to support their ministry. Resident Pastors must already possess Permanent Residency in Canada. The S2S Network is a leadership development and church planting movement in Western Canada based in Calgary, Alberta. Our Network spans British Columbia to Manitoba. Our Vision is to multiply 25 disciple making churches and leaders from the seashores of British Columbia to the big skies of Manitoba over the next 10 years. S2S staff provide on-the-job training, assessment, coaching & spiritual growth opportunities which may be applied to licensing, ordination, or academic credit with The Wesleyan Church.
