The role of shipping and receiving is essential in managing the flow of goods within the warehouse as well as shipping it out. Your skills will be utilized for the preparation of orders, warehouse management, and will be complimented by your ability to operate a forklift. Your experience in shipping and receiving will ensure quality and timely deliveries. Placing an emphasis on efficiency, quality, and safety, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence in logistics, manufacturing and distribution as well as contributing to our organized warehouse environment. Tasks :  Reception of incoming shipments and deliveries of outgoing orders;Loading and unloading trucks using the appropriate equipment (i.e. forklift or jigger);Preparing and managing outgoing shipments by packaging the finished products and accurately labeling them;Supporting the operators in the picking of materials required for production;Completing appropriate documentation related to shipment (i.e. packing slips, bills of lading)Verifying incoming and outgoing products based on the documentation provided;Overseeing the warehouse inventory for day-to-day operations, including inventory management, order processing, and shipping coordination;Overseeing the maintenance of the forklift;Overseeing the maintenance of the pallet wrapper;Overseeing the general management of the building which includes the fire extinguishers, the sprinkler system, the racking, the air conditioning and heating systems, ;Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in the warehouse. Experience and requirements :  Electric forklift experience and license;Experience in all aspects of warehousing, picking, packing, shipping, and management of inventory;Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities;Must be organized and able to take initiative;Attention to detail and responsible.
