Job Description

Our client in the retail industry is hiring a Business Management Assistant. This role involves supporting product management, marketing, and sales operations. The successful candidate will assist with market research, demand forecasting, and inventory management while ensuring the efficiency of business strategies.

Job Details

  • Location & Work Model : Hybrid – 4 days on-site in North York, 1 day remote (Wednesdays)
  • Pay Rate : $23 / hour
  • Schedule : 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM (flexibility to stay later if needed)
  • Contract Duration : 11 weeks to start, with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product, market, industry, and pricing research to support business strategy development
  • Monitor product performance and coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams
  • Support sales and margin goals by working closely with relevant departments
  • Maintain daily communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze sales trends and adjust demand forecasts accordingly
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring alignment with target safety stock and total inventory plans
  • Generate purchase orders based on forecasted demand and troubleshoot supply chain disruptions
  • Review forecasting, sales performance, and inventory KPIs to support operational decision-making
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on business performance
  • Requirements

  • Fluent in Korean
  • Experience in administrative, clerical, or a similar business support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take initiative
  • Assets

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, or a related field
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, or business operations
  • Experience presenting to senior management
