About The Opportunity

• Leverage knowledge of strategic and day-to-day needs and the current landscape to source new  vendors that best suit the organizations needs.

Refine and execute the selection process for new vendors, from creating RFPs and assessment criteria to effectively communicating outcomes to vendors.

Utilize robust contract negotiation and dispute resolution mechanisms throughout the vendor lifecycle to guide vendor engagements.

Utilize comprehensive technology vendor performance management and reporting frameworks and processes that are fit-for-purpose and in line with industry best practices.

Oversee the work of vendors contracted  during their contracted period, evaluating their delivery in line with contractual obligations and predetermined performance metrics.

Collaborate with the technology and  Risk and Governance team to ensure vendors comply with policies and frameworks and contribute to risk mitigation efforts as required.

Manage relationships with vendors during their contracted period and collaborate with other  Cybersecurity, and Business Partnering teams, to resolve operational issues promptly.

Ensure effective collaboration between vendor managers, project managers, technical teams, and business partners to effectively drive the vendor management process.

Regularly update the vendor management office lead on the status of vendor management initiatives.

Work with the Procurement, Contracting and Legal functions to ensure adherence to enterprise-wide vendor frameworks and policies.

About You

Bachelor’s degree qualification.

3+ years of experience in a vendor management-related role. Further professional qualifications are preferable.

Comfortable working within culturally diverse teams, preferably within an NGO or large international organization. Leadership experience is preferable.

Good awareness of the contemporary vendor landscape.

Good understanding of contemporary digital landscapes and some experience working with high-level stakeholders within this field.

Highly organized and able to prioritize and work to deadlines, adapting to shifting priorities.

Good communicator and influencer, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at senior management through technical staff and other functions

Possesses professional maturity, sensitivity to different cultures, and impeccable integrity

Demonstrates a commitment to the organization's values and vision.
