Our client, a large pension fund is looking for an Analyst, Collateral & Liquidity operations to join them on a 6 month assignment.
The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring four days per week onsite and one day remote from the client's office in Downtown Toronto.
The role is heavily focused on operational processing, reconciliation, exception management, controls, and reporting within the collateral management function.
Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely completion of daily operational processing activities
- Resolution of operational exceptions and reconciliation breaks
- Completion of daily controls, validations, and signoffs
- Escalation of material risks or issues to management
- Maintaining documentation and supporting process updates
- Supporting onboarding of new products
- Processing daily cash and securities transactions within tight deadlines
- Investigating settlement exceptions and account discrepancies
- Monitoring operational workflows and identifying settlement risks
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of investment operations experience
- Strong background in reconciliation and exception management
- Experience processing cash, securities, and collateral transactions
- High attention to detail due to volume and risk associated with transactions
- Advanced level with excel.
